Review of Peelu Company – Peelu – Spearmint, 7 oz toothpaste
I agree with the previous (and, to date, only) reviewer, Mary, that it does not taste as good as Tom’s of Maine. For more than 10 years, ToM’s cinnamint was my favorite.
I found Peelu because I was looking for something to help my receding gums. While no one claims that Peelu does this, its less-abrasive (and fluoride-free) nature appealed to me. I figured, at least it’s not hurting my gums as much as more abrasive pastes.
Well, Peelu cleans my teeth at least as well as other toothpastes and does it without the harsh abrasives. For this reason, I recommend it. I also found my gums came back a little, but that could be from other products I’m also using. Who knows? I’m just happy my mouth is healthier.
